Tahini and Ginger Cookies (Gluten Free/Vegan/No Refined Sugar)

These healthy cookies make a perfect on the go snack or afternoon tea for the kids. They are made with healthy fats, are nut free and contain no refined sugar.

Makes: 15 cookies

Prep time: 5 minutes

Bake time: 10-12 minutes


  • 1 cup of oat flour

  • ½ a cup of tapioca flour

  • ¼ a cup of coconut flour

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda

  • 2 and a ½ tablespoons of tahini

  • 4 tablespoons of maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon of milk of choice

  • 2 teaspoons of ground ginger

  • ½ a teaspoon of ground cinnamon

  • ¼ a teaspoon of nutmeg


  1. Preheat your oven to 180C fan forced and line a baking tray.

  2. Mix your oat flour, tapioca flour, coconut flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg in a mixing bowl.

  3. Add your tahini, maple syrup and milk and mix until fully combined.

  4. Roll your dough into 15 balls and place on a baking tray.

  5. Lightly press down your balls with a fork creating a cross pattern.

  6. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, depending on how hard you would like your cookies.

  7. Let them cool for about ten minutes and then enjoy!
