The perfect alternative to your classic pizza base. This sweet potato base is super sturdy and has the classic pizza crust crunch.
Serves: 4-6 people

Cook time: 40 minutes
220 grams of sweet potato (about 1 small sized sweet potato)
1 cup of tapioca flour
1 cup of coconut flour
½ a teaspoon of baking soda
¼ a cup of olive oil
¼ a teaspoon of salt
Dice your sweet potato and then boil or steam until your sweet potato is soft.
Preheat your oven to 200C fan forced and oil or line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Let your sweet potato cool then add all of your ingredients to a food processor.
Blend until fully combined
Spread your mixture on to your baking tray and then press until it is 1cm thick,
Bake for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for a further 10.
Top with your favourite pizza toppings and cook until your toppings are done.
