These taste just like a bounty bar but without the refined sugar. Makes a decadent treat or a great snack.
Serves: 16 balls
Prep time: 10 minutes
Chill time: 15 minutes
1 ½ cups of desiccated coconut
1 tablespoon of coconut flour
¼ of a cup of melted coconut oil
1 teaspoon of maple syrup
50 grams of melted dark chocolate to coat the balls in
In a food processor mix the desiccated coconut and flour together.
Add the maple syrup and melted coconut oil to the food processor and mix until well combined.
Compress mixture into 16 balls.
Put the balls in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Optional: Whilst the balls are chilling in the fridge, melt 50 grams of chocolate.
Roll the balls in the chocolate.
Put the balls in the fridge for 5 minutes to set again.
