
These cookies are perfect to help reduce your food waste. I created this recipe by using the left over pulp from our homemade oat milk. These delicious cookies are super easy and quick to make. Perfect for a snack, treat or even an on the go breakfast.
Makes: 6 cookies
Prep time: 5 minutes
Bake time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
200 grams of oat pulp. From leftover oat milk.
¼ cup of rolled oats
6 dates chopped up
2 tablespoons of almond meal
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of maple syrup
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Steps:
Preheat your oven to 180C fan forced and line a baking tray.
Mix all of your ingredients together in a bowl.
Roll mixture into 6 balls and then flatten on the baking tray.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden.
Let them cool on a wire rack, then enjoy!
