Nutty Energy Balls (Vegan/Gluten Free/ No refined Sugar)

It tastes like a spoon of nut butter in a bite. These balls are delicious and are high in energy.

Makes: 24 balls

Prep time: 15 minutes

Chill time: 1 hour


  • 1 cup of rolled oats

  • 12 pitted dates

  • 1 and a ½ cups of mixed nuts

  • 2 tablespoons of nut butter

  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds

  • 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon of desiccated coconut

  • Optional: 1 cup of crushed mixed nuts for rolling


  1. Soak your dates in boiling water for 10 minutes and then drain.

  2. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and blend until well combined. You may need to scrape down the sides with a spatula.

  3. Roll your mixture into preferred sized balls then roll them in your crushed mixed nuts

  4. Place your balls in the fridge to harden for at least an hour.

  5. Enjoy!
