Homemade Oat Milk (Vegan/Gluten Free)


No soaking required. This oat milk is quick and easy to make and not slimy!


Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of gluten free rolled oats

  • 800ml of cold water

  • 5 ice cubes

  • 1 teaspoon of walnut oil

  • 2 dates or teaspoon of maple syrup

  • A nut bag

Steps:

  1. Add all the ingredients to the blender.

  2. Pulse 4 times. Do not over blend as this can heat the mixture making it slimy.

  3. Pour the mixture through the nut bag, do not squeeze.

  4. Optional: you can pour the mixture through the bag again for a less creamy milk.

  5. Pour the milk into a jar and store in the fridge for up to a week.


Notes:

  • Reduce your waste by using your leftover pulp by making our oat milk pulp cookies.
