Healthy Turkey Burgers (Gluten Free/ Dairy Free)

An instant winner for family dinners. These burgers are delicious, juicy and extremely easy to make.

Makes: 6 burgers

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes


Turkey patties:

  • 500 grams of turkey mince

  • 1 diced brown onion or red onion

  • 1 ½ teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

  • 2/3 of a cup of gluten free bread crumbs or two pieces of stale gluten free bread.

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil

Serve with:

  • Gluten free bread or buns

  • Baby spinach or salad of choice

  • Avocado

  • Vegan cheese

  • Sauce of your choice


  1. Dice your onion (we like our chunky) and mince your ginger and garlic.

  2. Place onion, turkey, garlic, ginger, eggs and bread crumbs in a large bowl.

  3. Combine well with hands.

  4. Roll into 6 even balls.

  5. Heat up coconut oil in a large fry pan on a medium high heat.

  6. Place the turkey balls into the fry pan and flatten to about an inch thick.

  7. Cover with lid for about 7 mins

  8. Flip and cover with lid again for 7 mins.

  9. Create your burger with your toppings and enjoy!
