Coconut brownies (Gluten Free/Dairy Free/No Refined Sugar)

If you prefer a cakey brownie this recipe is for you. Rich in chocolate and low in sugar these brownies make the perfect dessert.


  • 6 tablespoons of coconut flour

  • 4 eggs

  • ⅓ of a cup of cocoa powder

  • ¼ a cup of coconut sugar

  • ½ a teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • ⅓ a cup of coconut oil

  • 2 tablespoons of shredded coconut


  1. Preheat the oven to 180C fan forced and line a brownie tray.

  2. Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, coconut, sugar, egg and vanilla.

  3. Add the coconut oil and mix until fully combined.

  4. Pour mixture into the tray.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes or remove earlier if you prefer your brownies fudgy.

  6. Let them cool in the tray for 10 minutes then cut up.

  7. Cut up and enjoy!
